Our Founding Journey: The Creation of Durazza
Durazza was born out of a journey of resilience, creativity, and purpose. Before starting this business, I worked in schools, mental health facilities, and with police officers to educate about human trafficking, while also using art therapy to help survivors heal.
When COVID-19 hit, I lost my job and realized I wanted to continue making an impact. I started Durazza as a way to give back to survivors. What began as reselling craft products quickly evolved into a passion for graphic design and creating unique, meaningful products.
Even during personal challenges, including breast cancer, I found solace in puzzles and the joy of creativity. That experience inspired Durazza’s mission:
